Abstract
Campylobacter jejuni enteritis is 1 of the most common causes of food poisoning. Although an infrequent complication, Campylobacter associated perimyocarditis can have fatal consequences. This article illustrates 2 cases. We examine the types of Campylobacter jejuni responsible and report the observed male preponderance of this complication. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
