This new collaboration has resulted in the publication of an ICM-RPG on awake proning in patients with COVID-19-related hypoxemic acute respiratory failure in this issue of I Acta Anaesthesiologica Scandinavica i .[13] The target users of the ICM-RPGs are clinicians and other healthcare professionals caring for critically ill patients. Some of the coming ICM-RPG topics include use of vitamin C in sepsis, oxygenation targets in mechanically ventilated patients and selective digestive decontamination in the intensive care unit.
