Abstract
This article, published in the Journal of Neurological Surgery, discusses a case report of a 7-year-old female with an aneurysmal bone cyst (ABC) in the nasal cavity and ethmoidal sinus. The patient presented with symptoms such as proptosis, vision loss, nasal obstruction, and headache. The lesion was successfully removed using a combined endoscopic endonasal approach and a bifrontal craniotomy, resulting in the resolution of symptoms and improvement of exophthalmos. The article emphasizes the importance of gross total resection followed by bone grafting and highlights the need for familiarity with skull base techniques in managing these rare lesions.
