Abstract
The article reports on the call by the Israeli Coalition Against Trafficking in Women for August 16, 2005 to be established as an annual International Memorial Day for Trafficking Victims in Israel. That day is the anniversary of a 2000 fire that burned two women to death who had been trafficked from the Soviet Union in a brothel in Tel Aviv.
