Abstract
Pseudomonas syringae pv. maculicola dissociants producing colonies of different morphotypes were found to possess similar biochemical and serological properties but different virulence to the host plant. The heterogeneous extracellular and intracellular lipopolysaccharide–protein complexes of the dissociants differed in their chemical composition and biological activity towards test plants.
