Abstract
The article reports on an adult wild boar hunting and eating an adult bonnet macaque known as Macaca radiata in the Reception area of the Bandipur National Park, Karnataka, India on December 5, 2013. Topics discussed include predator like behaviour of wild boars scientifically known as Sus scrofa, feeding of boars on animal carcasses, and predating behaviour as a result of competition over human provided food resources.
