Abstract
The article presents part one of the executive summary of the 2015 International Consensus on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care(ECC) Science With Treatment Recommendations (CoSTR) publication of the American Heart Association (AHA). Topics discussed include the evidence evaluation processes of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR), the aspects of resuscitation medicine, and the use of targeted temperature management (TTM).
