Abstract
The article focuses on the impact of using ionophore alternatives, such as essential oil compounds, in calf diets on animal growth and the prevalence of antibiotic-resistant Escherichia coli (E. coli). It study examines the effects of these feed additives on growth, health, and rumen development in calves, as well as their influence on the prevalence of antibiotic resistance in E. coli isolates.
