Abstract
The article focuses on Integrated Microbial Genomes Annotation Collaboration Toolkit (IMG-ACT) program which involves the integration of genomics and bioinformatics in life sciences curriculum. It says that IMG-ACT offers educational tools including bioinformatics databases, data storage, and clearinghouse of genome sequences. It adds that the program's platform can present some key concepts in an introductory course. Moreover, the program can promote the linkage between science subject areas.
