Abstract
Dear Editor, After almost 2 years since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, very few articles have published the actual impact of the pandemic on the prescription of allergen immunotherapy (AIT). The percentage of compliance (treatment initiation) in the non-pandemic period was 94.6% (95.7% SCIT; 95.5% SLIT) and 88.1% in the pandemic period (89.8% SCIT; 80.5% SLIT). A total of 278 AITs (212 SCIT; 66 SLIT) were prescribed in the non-pandemic period and 168 (126 SCIT; 42 SLIT) in the pandemic period. [Extracted from the article]
