Abstract
The article discusses the study done on the sedimentation settings and the Late Pleistocene–Holocene geochronology in the Vychegda River Valley in Russia. Topics discussed include scale of distribution of glacier-dammed lakes, radiocarbon dating, palynological analysis, and paleochannel analysis used for investigation, and loamy-eat horizons, containing abundant wood remains and wood detritus as the feature of terrace surface.
