Abstract
The article provides information on the history and future prospects of the village of Lifta, Jerusalem. It discusses the vernacular architecture and construction of the Lifta which was destroyed during Israel-Arab war in 1948. It is suggested that the Israel Land Administration is planning a conservation to issue a new tender for the sale of land for building in Lifta.
