Abstract
The article presents a study that identifies the obstacles in antiretroviral treatment (ART) of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) in Central Mozambique. It utilized data of adults who receive services in two public HIV care systems and proportion of people undergoing the steps including HIV testing and CD4 testing was determined. It reveals the substantial drop-offs in the number of people who participated in HIV testing and suggests the need for interventions to improve HIV services.
