Abstract
The article discusses the monitoring of CD4 count for children on combination antiretroviral therapy in the context of fully suppressed HIV viral load and mentions Paediatric European Network for Treatment of AIDS (PENTA) guidelines. Topics discussed include Cox proportional hazards regression, monitoring in all children and young people with HIV infection, and transient falls in CD4 counts and co-trimoxazole prescriptions.
