Abstract
The article highlights certain women who have accomplished highly successful career in their field. American singer-songwriter Aretha Franklin became the first woman to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. American marine biologist, explorer, author and lecturer Sylvia Earle became the first woman to become chief scientist of the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
