Abstract
The article reports on the surge of white nationalist after U.S. president Donald Trump took office with reference to the recent violence in the city of Charlottesville, Virginia. Activists looked for more Confederate statues to pull down, while alt-right promised more torches and more marches. Swift and sharp reactions were both drawn from right and left on both the event and the Trump's response.
