Abstract
The article presents a study which investigates the predation of American bullfrogs on juvenile coho salmon in Humboldt County, California. It shows that a juvenile coho salmon was found on the stomach of a captured adult female bullfrog when it was dissected. It is believed that the juvenile coho salmon was from a trap that were used to capture migrating salmonid smolts in Freshwater Creek in Humboldt Bay, Humboldt County, California. The researchers highly suggest the implementation of local ecological requirements to limit the interaction between juvenile coho salmon and bullfrogs.
