Abstract
A previously healthy 4-year-old male was admitted to the paediatric emergency reporting a 1-week history of furuncle-like skin lesions with a central punctum on his back and left frontal region of the scalp. Additionally, episodic lancinating pain and purulent drainage occurred after direct visualisation of movement in the central pore.
