Abstract
The article discusses the use of multidetector computer tomography angiography (MDCTA) in pediatric cardiovascular (CV) evaluation. It cites the advantages of MDCTA, including thorough evaluation of the thorax, and its disadvantages, including the use of iodine contrast medium. It notes that the technique is divided into patient preparation and scan technique. It also mentions the applications of children MDCTA, which is indicated for congenital and postoperative CV disease.
