Abstract
The article highlights the Graham Vivian Sutherland, an English artist known for glass, fabrics, prints and portraits. Topics include the use of subjective emotions in his art; that Sutherland used the techniques of modernism but depicted truth in his artworks; and that he had familiarity with the work of Jacques Maritain.
