Abstract
The article examines the use of social media microblogging site Twitter by Kenneth Roth, executive director of the Human Rights Watch (HRW) organization, and focuses on this tweets related to the 2014 intervention in the Gaza Strip by Israel. Topics discussed include his tweets about the alleged use of human shields by Palestinian Islamic organization Hamas, his tweets about the alleged actions of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), and allegations that Roth is anti-Israel.
