Abstract
IBD is commonly seen in patients with primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) and increases the risk of osteopenic bone disease in these individuals. Previous small investigations have identified a high rate of osteoporosis in PSC patients undergoing evaluation for liver transplantation. The present study determined the prevalence of bone disease in a large group of PSC patients, and examined predictors of bone disease. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
