Abstract
The article focuses on project aimed at improving oxygen therapy discharge instruction and standardize the home oxygen set-up process to improve oxygen adherence and knowledge for patients with newly prescribed oxygen therapy. Topics discussed include functions that are likely to improve by patients with chronic obstructive lung disease (COPD) who meet specific criteria for long-term oxygen therapy, and information on Plan, Do, Study, Act (PDSA) cycles.
