Abstract
The article discusses the use of dialysate sodium values in hemodialysis process. It mentions the benefits of high and low sodium dialysate, such as the reduction of interdialytic weight gain, the improvement of blood pressure control for hypertensive patients and the reduction of cardiac volume loading. Information on the process of distribution of predialysis serum sodium values to dialysis patients is provided.
