Abstract
The aim of the work is development of a heat pump using the heat of air compressor cooling water 313 K (40°C) in order to prepare a high-temperature stream of nitrogen 453 K (180°C) passing into regeneration of absorbers of a combined cleaning unit within air-fractionation units. It is shown that use of low-potential heat in industrial installations, as calculations demonstrate, justifies itself, and a further favorable effect is governed by the use of improved compressor equipment and expenditure on electrical energy, whose cost increases continuously.
