Abstract
The article focuses on research which shows that TM adults have diverse sexual partners and engage in a wide range of sexual behaviors that can place them at risk for HIV. Topics include examines despite documented sexual risk, a high prevalence of lifetime sexually transmitted infections and a sizable prevalence of HIV infection in some TM populations, there have been few studies exploring TM adults' awareness and use of HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis.
