Abstract
The article offers several facts about Giardia lamblia. It mentions that infection caused due to Giardia lamblia is one of the most common causes of waterborne nonbacterial and nonviral diarrheal disease; lamblia feeds using specialized organelles called peripheral vacuoles; and lamblia survives in the environment as infectious cysts. It also mentions about plasma membrane.
