This article analyzes several therapies related to women's diseases. While analyzing these therapies, the article at the out set focuses on hormone replacement therapy in postmenopausal women, and discusses endometrial hyperplasia and irregular bleeding. The objective of this analysis is to assess which hormone replacement therapy regimens provide effective protection against the development of endometrial hyperplasia and/or carcinoma with a low rate of abnormal vaginal bleeding. The article further discusses various issues related to local oestrogen for vaginal atrophy in postmenopausal women.
