Abstract
The article presents a cross-sectional study concerning the correlation between low bone density and disease activity in patients with ulcerative colitis. The study used colorimetry method, data analysis, and Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. An acceptable rate of low bone density in ulcerative colitis was shown, without any correlation with the disease activity index.
