Abstract
Using bulge-disk decompositions of light profiles in combined HST plus ground-based imaging in the V-band and also in near-IR HST-NICMOS plus Spitzer 3.6 μm data, we are investigating the structural properties of bulges and their correlations with bulge morphology and kinematics in galaxies of Hubble type Sa-Scd. Additionally, Spitzer observations at 8 μm and 24 μm reveal star formation activity in disks and their bulges and its correlation with disk and bulge properties. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
