Abstract
The article presents a study on the equivalent eye lens dose of interventional radiologists during computed tomography (CT)-guided procedures. The study involves measurements of eye lens' radiation doses obtained during a dedicated dosimeter system for scattered radiation. It suggests that the median dose of the eye lens of the interventional radiologist should not maximum of the recommended equivalent eye lens dose limit of 20 mSv per year.
