Abstract
Studies the risk of breast cancer in carriers of BRCA2 gene mutation. Methods used in the population based study in Iceland; Penetrance and the probability of cancer; Findings on men and women carrying the mutation; Interpretation that the mean risk of breast cancer in carriers of mutation in BRCA2 is lower than previously suggested.
