Abstract
The study of collections of crop varieties in specific soil and climatic conditions makes it possible to identify the most valuable genotypes in terms of breeding. The inclusion of selected varieties in the breeding process makes it possible to quickly create new varieties with specified quality parameters and properties. Materials and methods. In the forest-steppe zone of Western Siberia, indices of environmental conditions and ecological plasticity, as well as stability, were determined. Indicators of intensity and homeostasis for 35 varieties of oats of domestic and foreign breeding have been established. Results. Varieties Korifey, Mestny, Rusich, Argument were isolated; AC Rebel with a weight of 1000 grains, exceeding the standard. On average, over the years of research, the weight of 1000 grains varied from 37.9 to 40.2 g. The following factors influence the formation of the weight of 1000 grains: "vegetation period conditions" - 37.8%; "genotype" - 18.4%. The share of interaction is 27.6%. The most plastic varieties of intensive type oats were identified: Korifey, Mestny, Rusich, Argument, whose ecological plasticity index was 1.09-1.16 units. The intensity coefficient of these varieties was the maximum - 39-41 units. at the standard (grade Otrada) 34 units. The homeostaticity of the collection varied in a wide range: from 7 (Coripheus) to 67 (Novosibirsk 88) with a coefficient of responsiveness to external conditions of more than 1.0. In the course of a comprehensive assessment of indicators, it was found that the following varieties have the maximum adaptive potential in terms of weight of 1000 grains: Fristyle; Crown; Rusich; Krechet; KWS Contender; Irtysh 13; Local'j; Pluton-inia; Korifej; Argument; Sapporo AC Rebel. The total points of these varieties ranged from 144 to 185, which corresponds to the maximum rank. Conclusion. In the West Siberian oat breeding, it is recommended to select parental pairs using Fristyle varieties (Belarus); Kron (Sweden); Rusich (Russia); Krechet (Russia); KWS Contender (Germany); Irty'sh 13 (Russia); Mestny'j (Russia); Pluton-inia (Chile); Korifej (Russia); Argument (Russia); Sapporo (Japan); AC Rebel (Canada) whose adaptive potential by weight of 1000 grains significantly exceeds the standard.
