Abstract
The article investigates the surface elevation changes of the Bering Glacier system in Alaska and Yukon Territory from 1972-2006 through an analysis of airborne- and spaceborne-derived digital elevation datasets. The study presents estimates and multi-decadal surface elevation changes. Study shows that surface elevations from Macintosh Peak on the south to Waxell Ridge on the north increased up to 53 meters from November 2004-November 2006. However, the surface elevations of up-glacier on Bagley Ice Valley decreased as much as 28 meters from October 2003-October 2006.
