Birch pollen extract enhances human cytomegalovirus replication in monocyte-derived dendritic cells Thus, APE-driven changes in gene signatures of moDC provide a favorable environment for HCMV infection and replication, despite an enhancement in pro-inflammatory cytokine responses.
