Abstract
The article discusses the fact that risk of large-bodied mammals or terrestrial megafauna populations becoming extinct is higher than the rest. The article discusses the impact of megafauna on the different ecosystems across the globe, how they have survived since the Pleistocene Epoch, and how their population is currently dwindling due to overhunting.
