Abstract
The article discusses the role of succinate metabolism and membrane reorganization in driving coagulopathy during traumatic hemorrhage. Succinate accumulation leads to glycocalyx degradation through lipid oxidation and membrane changes. Inhibiting succinate metabolism prevents damage and holds promise for treating coagulopathy in traumatic hemorrhage.
