Abstract
The article presents a study on the outbreak of acute endophthalmitis associated with repackaged bevacizumab in Georgia and Indiana from February to March 2013. The repackaging of bevacizumab at a pharmacy has caused the outbreak which led microbial contamination that can result in vision loss. The antineoplastic agent is used to treat retinal disorders, such as age-related macular degeneration.
