A Dual-site audit into the management of non-accidental head injury in two tertiary children's centres.

Abstract
The article reports on research which was conducted at two tertiary children's centers in Great Britain to audit the facilities and determine whether they were following guidelines on non-accidental head injury assessments which were developed by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and to investigate the centers' management of non-accidental head injuries. Researchers found that there were several problems related to documenting the injuries found at the centers and that there was a lack of awareness of existing guidelines and protocols for non-accidental head injuries.
