Abstract
The article presents a profile of the rock band Daughtry, named after frontman Chris Daughtry, who started the band after appearing on the televised singing contest "American Idol" in 2006. Their album "Daughtry" has sold over four million copies. Their second album, titled "Leave This Town," is scheduled for release in July 2009. INSET: 'Idol' Gives Back.
