Abstract
Heat-exchange processes between a pressurized gas, the cold wall of the container, and the phase interface in stationary and moving storage systems, and during off-loading to the liquid-hydrogen consumer are investigated. An equation is recommended for calculation of the amount of pressure-charging gas involved when oxygen and hydrogen are displaced from containers of any shape. The diagram of a unit for the testing of an industrial container, which can be set in oscillatory motion by a special bench system, is presented. Pressure and temperature relationships are derived for the pressure-charging of a container by hydrogen, and also helium and layered helium and hydrogen. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
