Abstract
The hetero-Diels-Alder reaction of 3-aroylpyrrolo[2,1- c][1,4]benzoxazine-1,2,4-triones with styrene afforded mixtures of diastereoisomeric (10 R*,11a R*)- and (10 S*,11a R*)-8-aryl-10-phenyl-10,11-dihydropyrano[4′,3′: 2,3]pyrrolo[2,1- c][1,4]benzoxazine-6,7,12-triones. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
