Abstract
Before the first injection, all except 1 patient had PB-CD34 of 11 cells/ul or less, including half of them with 5 cells/ L or less, a group classified as "absolute poor mobilizer" [[6]]. However, there was a substantial 26 instances, out of the 83 injections, where post-injection PB-CD34 remained less than 11 cells/ L, the threshold that was previously shown to predict a meaningful harvest of at least 1 million CD34/kg [[5]]. Twenty-one patients had total collection of CD34+ cells between 2 and 5 million/kg, and 17 patients collected more than 5 million/kg. [Extracted from the article]
