Abstract
This document provides a list of criteria that are considered essential for determining which patients with cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (cSCC) may benefit from adjuvant radiotherapy. The criteria include perineural invasion, invasion beyond subcutaneous fat, bone invasion, poor differentiation, tumor diameter ≥2 cm, recurrent tumor, initial surgical approach, life expectation, primary site nonhair-bearing lip, age of the patient, Breslow thickness exceeding 2 mm, Clark level of IV or higher, primary site ear, and the number of criteria met. Perineural invasion and bone invasion are particularly important risk factors for local, regional, and distant metastasis in cSCC. Standardizing these criteria will improve patient management and reduce the risk of recurrence and metastasis. The research received no specific funding and the authors declare no conflicts of interest. The data underlying the article will be shared upon request. [Extracted from the article]
