Abstract
Injection-related infections require prolonged antibiotic therapy. Outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy (OPAT) has been shown to be feasible for people who inject drugs (PWID) in some settings. We report a national survey on practice patterns and attitudes of infectious diseases clinicians in the United States regarding use of OPAT for PWID. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
