Abstract
Urticaria, one of the most common skin disorder, is characterized by itchy wheals and flares1 and it is considered as chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU) if symptoms are persistent over 6 weeks. Weller et al8 concluded that bilastine was an effective H1 antihistamine in relieving the symptoms of difficult to treat CSU patients, refractory to other H1 antihistamines. In conclusion, bilastine at standard licensed dose is an effective H1-antihistamine in relieving the symptoms of CSU patient refractory to levocetrizine in early stage. [Extracted from the article]
