Abstract
B Background: b The aim of our study was to compare the MCTSI, CTSI and APACHE II indices for predicting local complications and severity in acute pancreatitis (AP). B Results: b For local complications, the MCTSI index showed superiority over the CTSI and APACHE II index in predicting an invasive procedure (AUC 0.819, CI: 0.69 - 0.95) and pancreatic necrosis infection (AUC 0.824, CI: 0.73 - 0.92).
