Abstract
The article presents a study which explores the use of climate forcing reconstructions in the Paleoclimate Model Intercomparison Project Phase III (PMIP3) simulations over the period 850 CE to 1850 CE. Assessments in the anthropogenic changes in Land Use/Land Cover (LULC) are outlined. A discussion on the calibration of solar activity and solar irradiance is provided.
