Abstract
Presents research which studied the ice record at the Vostok station in East Antarctica. Evidence for atmospheric composition and climate for the past four glacial-interglacial cycles; Succession of changes between cycles; Oscillation of atmospheric and climate properties; Differences between periods for temporal evolution and duration; Concentrations of carbon dioxide and methane in the cycles.
