Abstract
The article discusses the highlights of 2008 annual conference of the Special Libraries Association (SLA) held in Seattle, Washington, in June. More than 5,000 individuals from six continents attended the conference. Several sessions focused on environmental issues, such as sustainability, renewable resources, corporate accountability and green consumer behavior. Some vendors had giveaways made from recycled materials.
